During IFA 2011, the Finnish Nokia touched on some of the latest mobile phones presented. Among them, the Nokia 700, one of the terminals with Symbian Belle that are about to reach the Espoo firm's catalog, and probably the thinnest of those that it will put on sale.
During their exposure at the German fair, the guys from the Greek blog TechBlog.gr were tinkering with the operating system options with this mobile, and while exploring its contents they came across a very special video: nothing less than a promo for the Nokia 801, which could well be the rumored Nokia N8-01 that has been talked about for months.
However, despite the briefness of the appearance, some details have been confirmed that derail some of the data that had been raised for this rumored terminal. To begin with, it would not be a Windows Phone 7, but a Symbian Belle (the most advanced update of the Finnish house's smartphone system). And also, it would not reissue the design of the Nokia N8.
The aspect that this Nokia 801 proposes plays more in the line of the latest terminals presented by Nokia, with straight but smooth lines, playing minimalism and the simplification of the front of the device, where only an apparently generous touch screen and three flat buttons can be distinguished on a surface of what appears to be aluminum.

Little is known about the Nokia 801's performance. When talking about an adaptation of the Nokia N8, it had been suggested that it repeat with the twelve megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss sensor that earned that device so much applause.
However, this data is yet to be confirmed. In any case, from what can be guessed in the leaked video, the Nokia 801 will have an important multimedia section, something that the Nokia N8 did include in which this model supposedly would have been inspired.
