Nokia, along with other brands such as LG and Sony, has already confirmed their attendance at the IFA in Berlin that will take place in the coming weeks. Although there has not yet been official confirmation from the company, all rumors point to the renewal of its current portfolio of smartphones, with phones such as the Nokia 8.2, the Nokia 7.2 or the Nokia 6.2. It is precisely the latter that has just been filtered in new images of its covers, revealing the design of the phone and part of its characteristics.
Nokia 6.2: hole in screen and double LED flash?
After a little over a year without seeing any apparent news in the Nokia 6 series, it seems that the company has decided to renew the model presented at the beginning of 2018.
Among the novelties that the Nokia 6.2 will include we can find the complete redesign of its front. The terminal discards the top and bottom frames to opt for an island-shaped notch on the left side. And is that although the size of its screen is unknown, everything indicates that the manufacturer will opt for a similar body size, which could lead to a 6-inch panel as opposed to the 5.5-inch Nokia 6.1.
As for the rear, here the news comes from the hand of a possible double LED flash that would be located next to the main sensor and below the secondary sensor. Since it is a render used to show the appearance of the covers, it is not ruled out that the third hole is either a wide-angle sensor or a ToF sensor to improve photographs taken in portrait mode.
For the rest, the device keeps the same lines as its predecessors, with a headphone jack input, a USB type C connection and a physical fingerprint sensor located in the central part of the back of the equipment. It is also known that it will come with a Snapdragon 660 processor and two RAM and storage options that would start from 4 and 64 GB to 6 and 128 GB.
It is not ruled out either that its screen is made up of an AMOLED panel, although given the type of implementation in the fingerprint sensor, it is most likely that we are facing an IPS LCD panel. Therefore, we will have to wait until September 6, the day on which IFA 2019 will begin, to find out all the news presented by Nokia.
