If you have a Motorola Moto X Style, you have a pending update. Today we learned that the same version for the United States, known as Motorola Moto X 2015 Pure Edition, is already receiving the most recent version of Android.
We are talking, logically, of Android 7 Nougat. The tests ended yesterday, so Motorola has officially announced the release of this data package. This means that, as usual, the deployment will start progressively. And it will be extended to all countries where the Motorola Moto X Style is present.
The Motorola Moto X Sytle with Android 7 will have the opportunity to enjoy multiple improvements. For example, the notification system has been renewed and multitasking mode has been added. In this way, users can manage up to two applications or windows at the same time.
The applications can be exchanged quickly (which comes in handy when you are using two apps regularly). New emojis, a quick settings bar, data savers, and improvements to the Doze system have been added. From now on, the phone will be able to save battery whenever it is stopped.
Install the update to Android 7 on the Motorola Moto X Style
If you want to install Android 7 on your Motorola Moto X Style, you will have to wait for a warning notification. If you don't have it yet, don't worry. We have already indicated that the update will be progressive, so do not worry.
Of course, if you want to check its availability, go to the Settings section > About the device> Updates> Update now.
When it's ready, make sure your equipment is well prepared:
- Charge the phone well, until it is (at least) at 50% capacity.
- Make sure you are connected to a WiFi network.
- Make a backup copy of the information you have saved on your phone.
