The Moto Z2 Play has been seen in a performance test, confirming some of its possible characteristics. The device would arrive to succeed the Moto Z Play, announced in October last year. The new terminal would be powered by an eight-core processor and would have a 4 GB RAM. In addition, it would be governed by Android 7.1.1, the latest version of Google's mobile platform. At the moment it is unknown when it would be announced. It could happen in the next few weeks or months.
A performance test would have recorded some of the previously leaked data about the Moto Z2 Play. The new phone would have a very common processor in the upper-middle range. Apparently, it would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor running at 2.2 Ghz. We are talking about an eight-core chip, which would be accompanied by a 4 GB RAM. The storage capacity could be 64 GB (expandable by using microSD type cards).
The new Moto Z2 Play would wear a sleek and discreet aluminum chassis. The most striking thing we would find in the back. The new device would have a very striking camera, which apparently, according to rumors, would have a resolution of 12 megapixels and an LED flash. The Motorola logo would continue to dominate the central part. Regarding the battery section, it is very possible that the Z2 Play includes a 3,000 mAh. The chosen operating system, in this case, would be Android 7.1.1, the latest version of Google's mobile platform. For the rest, it would have a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution and a basic connection section.
At the moment we do not know when it will be seen. Considering that its predecessor was announced in October last year, it is very possible that we will have to wait until after the summer to meet it.
