One of the most important features of the mobile camera is the night mode. Many manufacturers have opted for this functionality that helps to improve night photography or low light. Google has its own mode, Huawei also and the same happens with Xiaomi. Samsung began integrating it into the Samsung Galaxy S10 after a software update. Now, and after reaching the Galaxy S9, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 receives an update with this mode.
The update has the number N960FXXU3CSF9, with a weight of about 700 MB and as the main novelty it includes the night mode in the camera. This mode automatically adjusts the settings for better light and color photography in low-light scenes. According to SamMobile, the results are very similar to what the Samsung Galaxy S10 offers. Other novelties is that the option to use a QR code in the camera application is added. Previously, it was necessary to do it through Bixby or Bixby Vision. Last but not least, the June security patch is applied, which corrects different vulnerabilities in the system.
How to update to the latest version
The update has begun to roll out in Germany, as is usual for the company's devices. The new version will begin to roll out little by little in other countries. If you have a Note 9 you will have to wait a few days or weeks to receive this new version. With the automatic updates option, it will notify you once it is available. Otherwise, you should go to settings> system information> software update and check if you have the latest version available.
Remember that it is necessary to have sufficient internal storage and battery. In addition, it is recommended to make a backup of your data, since the terminal will need to restart.
