Huawei P30 Pro
The camera of the Huawei P30 Pro offers very interesting features. One of these is related to video recording. I am referring to Dual-View mode, an option that allows us to record a video with two cameras simultaneously (normal and 5x zoom, for example). This function was announced with the launch of the P30 series, however, the Chinese company revealed that it would come later, through a software update. Now this update is coming to the Huawei P30 Pro.
The update is coming to China with the EMUI 9.1.0.153 version and mainly with camera changes. In addition to the Dual View video mode, the camera enhances the portrait mode with different artistic effects. But without a doubt, the most interesting thing is the option that allows us to record with two cameras at the same time. This feature is selected from the camera application. We will have to choose with what type of lens we want to record. For example, wide angle on one side and 5x zoom on the other. In this way, we can see a video on a split screen with different cameras.
The update also comes with the April security patch, which fixes various vulnerabilities in the system and in the company's customization layer.
When will I receive the update?
As I mentioned, the update is coming to China. It does this in a staggered manner, so it could take a few weeks to reach your device. Automatic updates are set by default, so you will be notified when the new version is available to download and install. Otherwise, you must go to 'Settings', 'system' and click on the option that says 'software update'. Check that the version number 9.1.0.153 is available. It is likely that it includes some other changes to part of those that I have commented.
Remember to have enough battery, as well as internal storage available for download and installation. It is advisable to make a backup of your data.
