Just yesterday the news jumped: Samsung will present the world's first folding mobile phone during this same year 2018, specifically in the month of November. To this day little or nothing is known about the supposed Galaxy F of the South Korean brand. All the rumors point to a hardware very similar to the current Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and a price even above this. Other aspects such as its design are still a mystery to ordinary mortals. Thanks to a recent leak on the well-known ETNews website, we can know the exact size of the terminal, which will be much larger than expected, exceeding 7 inches with the screen fully folded.
The Samsung Galaxy F will have a screen more than 7 inches
Much has already happened since the first rumors of Samsung's folding mobile. A few years ago we were able to see a prototype thanks to a video uploaded by the company itself on its official YouTube channel. Just two months after the presentation of the most anticipated mobile in recent years, we already know the two screen sizes of the brand's terminal.
As we can see in the original news in ETNews, the Galaxy F (foldable) will have a 7.3-inch screen in its "stretched" mode. As for the "compact" mode of the terminal, the same source points out that it will be only 4.6 inches, about 3 inches of difference between one mode and another. This makes us suppose that its ability to bend will be limited by some kind of mechanism, similar to the Oppo Find X with its deployable camera. Regarding the quality of the screen, it is assumed that it has the same as that of the Galaxy Note 9 presented a few weeks ago: Super AMOLED panel, QHD + resolution and pixels per inch greater than 500.
The rest of the device's features are presumably similar to those of the Note 9, with an Exynos 9810 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 128 and 512 GB of internal storage. On the design side, we can't take anything for granted currently, but it's most likely similar to the company's leaked patents and video posted a few years ago. The inclusion of a fingerprint sensor on the screen itself is not ruled out either, as it is a mobile entirely focused on it. We will have to wait until November to see what is in store for us.
