After two months of waiting, the company has just confirmed what it would assume would take place in January of this year. We are talking about the arrival of the Motorola Razr in Spain. The foldable phone from the Lenovo-owned company debuted late last year with a design that blends innovation with the classic lines of the Motorola V3. The price of the device was the main unknown, and now Motorola itself has confirmed it after an official statement.
The Motorola Razr will cost less than you think
The launch of models such as the Galaxy Fold or the Mate X made one fear the worst: the price of folding phones would completely exceed the barrier of 2,000 euros. This has been the case until Motorola's foray into the folding sector.
The company has just confirmed that the phone will begin to be available in Spain on February 10 at a price of 1,600 euros (1,599 euros to be exact). On January 31, the phone will begin to be available for pre-sale in several of the usual points of sale, such as Movistar, Orange and El Corte Inglés. However, it will not be from February 10 when the phone hits stores.
Futuristic design, mid-range specs
Part of the reason the Motorola Razr is cheaper than its direct rivals is due precisely to its specifications. The phone, made up of two screens of 6.2 inches on the inside and 2.7 inches on the outside, features a Snapdragon 710 processor along with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
Speaking of its screens, while the inner screen is limited to offering the basic functions of a mobile phone, the outer screen uses its functions to show notifications, answer calls and messages, manage multimedia playback, use the Google Assistant or take photos selfies. Regarding the way the screen is displayed, Motorola ensures that it maintains the essence of the original Motorola V3: simply lift the cover with your finger to operate the main screen.
The rest of the device's features are made up of a 2,510 mAh battery with 5 W fast charging, two 16 and 5 megapixel interior and exterior cameras with f / 1.7 and f / 2.0 apertures, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and dual-band WiFi connections. and splash protection.
