After the patent of a mobile with three faces that we met a few days ago, this time the South Korean company Samsung has once again starred in a new leak that has revealed that this manufacturer has just officially registered the name of " Samsung Galaxy Note Edge ". This name could correspond to a new Samsung smartphone model that would incorporate a screen with three faces, that is, a screen that would also expand along the side edges of the terminal.
The concept of a mobile with a screen with three faces is not something new in the mobile phone market, and in fact it was precisely the South Korean company Samsung which at the beginning of 2013 officially unveiled a mobile called Samsung YOUM, which incorporated a three-sided screen that allowed to control the mobile content also from the sides of the terminal. The Samsung YOUM project was finally abandoned and never became a real alternative in the mobile phone market.
On this occasion, the difference would be that the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge could be a project that would eventually become a reality in all markets around the world. Although the information related to this smartphone is practically non-existent, rumors have already appeared that Samsung could present this mobile with a three-sided screen together with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 at the IFA 2014 technology event that will take place in the city of Berlin. (Germany). The Samsung event will be held on September 3, so we will have to wait until that date to find out if the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is really a new mobile model ready to go on the market starting next month.
As for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the rumors and leaks that have appeared in recent weeks have allowed us to know practically all the information related to this smartphone. In addition to their appearance, today we know that the Note 4 will feature a screen of 5.7 inches to reach a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The processor chosen for the European version of the Galaxy Note 4 will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 of four cores which reach a clock speed still know and work in company with a memory RAM of 3 gigabytes. The main camera will come with a sensor 16 megapixel accompanied by an optical image stabilizer and by a LED flash. The operating system will correspond to Android in its version of, probably, Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Of course, we must remember that all this information is completely extra-official, so it is still too early to know if the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will finally integrate these technical specifications as we have known them through rumors. On September 3 we will completely clear our doubts, and perhaps we will also know other news such as Samsung's virtual reality project.
