The new device of the Chinese firm has just been presented and put on sale in Spain for 140 euros, an amount that makes it a smartphone compatible with all pockets. But what is special about it? Is it worth choosing this option over any other? The answer is yes, but let's see why.
The Redmi 8 is an entry-level device, but it has the great advantage of having a super powerful battery. We are talking, nothing more and nothing less, of 5,000 milliamps, which will ensure a more than prolonged autonomy for users who in principle have not opted for a high-end mobile. With all the advantages that this usually entails.
Xiaomi Redmi 8: very long battery life
It is a cheap mobile phone, but it has a high capacity battery. As much as 5,000 milliamps, which can offer up to two days of autonomy. Let's see now what its technical sheet tells us in the performance section. And it is that the Redmi 8 has an integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 eight-core processor, which will combine its potential with two different variants. The first and most basic will have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The second with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory.
The two versions will feature a dual SIM 2 + 1 slot with support for microSD cards, with which users will be able to expand the memory of the device up to 512 GB, which is said soon.
A premium display and design
The Redmi 8 arrives equipped with a Dot Drop screen and an HD + resolution of 15.8 centimeters. The aspect ratio of 19: 9, capable of offering a more immersive experience. The device also comes finished with premium materials, with a cover made of a glass-like material. This makes the phone pleasant to the touch and to hold. At the back is the fingerprint sensor. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 material makes for splash resistant gear.
In the camera section we find a 12 + 2 megapixel double sensor, the latter specially designed to offer greater depth in portraits. The camera for selfies, located on the front, has an 8 megapixel sensor, enough to obtain correct results.
It has, on the other hand, an FM Radio function for which headphones are not necessary and an infrared port, which can be useful to control certain household appliances at home.
