LG has just introduced the new LG V60 ThinQ, a phone that follows in the wake of its previous LG G8X with dual screens. A different terminal, for users who like to try terminals with a different touch and want to have a somewhat different experience. In this case, it is a mobile with high-end specifications, 5G connectivity and, in addition, a plastic accessory with a built-in screen. The most powerful processor for a dual display
What stands out the most in this new LG V60 ThinQ is its screen accessory as a cover. Each 6.8-inch screen has OLED technology and FullHD + resolution so that the user can use multitasking, one of the screens as a joystick, increase their productivity, etc. It is an alternative to mobile phones with a flexible screen that we are already seeing from brands like Samsung and Huawei. The mobile is built in glass and metal and has IP68 certification against dust and water. Its accessory measures 175.9 x 86 x 14.9 millimeters and weighs 134 grams. If we add the weight of the mobile we would be talking about a total of 348 grams. To put this figure in perspective, for example, the Samsung Galaxy Fold has a weight of 200 grams.
Inside we find the Snapdragon 865, with a dedicated modem for the 5G connection that had just arrived in our country from Vodafone. It is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM for efficient multitasking and two storage versions, 128 GB and 256 GB.
Triple camera with depth sensor and bokeh audio
The new LG V60 ThinQ has a double angle and wide angle sensor as well as a third with TOF technology to increase the precision of the bokeh effect. The main camera can record up to 8K resolution. As for audio, LG introduces a new bokeh technology, in which foreground audio is isolated from the background, thus enhancing the voices recorded during video shooting. In addition, we have an LG 3D sound engine that, according to the brand, recognizes the type of sound we are emitting and optimizes it to offer a better experience.
A giant battery and latest version of Android
In addition to fast charging and Android 10, this new LG V60 ThinQ brings with it a battery of no less than 5,000 mAh. Although we must expect that it will last for half if we put the two screens.
Price and availability
The price of the new LG V60 ThinQ that can be purchased from the month of March is not yet known in specialized establishments.
