LG could have thought better of it and could end up launching a member of the āVā family in Europe. Specifically, the LG V40 ThinQ, the mobile with five cameras from the South Korean company that we met last October. The device has been listed with two codes: LM-V405EB and LV-V405EBW, and according to sources, this would in fact be the variant for the Old Continent.
According to rumors, a special firmware appears to be in development: LMV405EB-EUR-XX-NOV-30-2018 + 0. The EUR chain clearly means that Europe would finally have a V-series smartphone. We are awaiting confirmation of other details such as price and release date. The phone is also expected to land with Android Pie, joining the LG G7 One, which is the company's only device to date to ship with the new operating system.
The LG V40 is one of the company's most current high-end devices. This model has a 6.4-inch OLED panel with QHD + resolution (3120 x 1440 pixels). Inside there is space for an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor (four at 2.8 GHz and another four at 1.8 GHz), accompanied by a 6 GB RAM and 64 and 128 GB of internal storage. The photographic section is one of the most outstanding aspects of the terminal. It has a triple sensor on its back of 16 and 12 megapixels, as well as a double camera on its front of 8 and 5 megapixels for selfies.
For the rest, the LG V40 ThinQ also equips a 3,300 milliamp battery with fast charging and IP68 certification, making it completely resistant to water, dust and other types of inclement weather. Regarding the design, the terminal follows the lines of other high-end models of the company, with a front with hardly the presence of frames, rounded edges and a very elegant glass chassis. The rear is very visual, with the triple sensor arranged horizontally and a fingerprint reader just below. The terminal logo and the company seal are not missing.
