It is undoubtedly the great novelty of the LG G8 Smart Green ThinQ. The new LG smartphone has a function called Air Motion, which allows you to control some functions of the device without touching it. It is possible from answering or ending calls, to taking screenshots or adjusting the volume. All this through a manager with the palm of your hand.

To achieve this, the Korean manufacturer has included a Z (ToF) camera that works through infrared sensors in the notch of the mobile. This camera, in addition to serving for gesture control, also includes a new biometric identification system. The camera emits an infrared beam onto the palm of the hand, and depending on how the hemoglobin in the blood (different for each person) absorbs infrared light, creates a unique identification pattern that the phone stores and encrypts for biometric authentication.. By using infrared light, this system works both in direct sunlight and in dark environments.

In addition to unlocking using the palm of the hand, the LG G8 Smart Green includes 3D facial recognition in real time. And, of course, the fingerprint reader is not missing.

Triple rear camera and powerful technical package

Camera Z is joined by four more cameras, one on the front and three on the back. The front is an 8 megapixel sensor with aperture f / 1.9. Together with the ToF sensor, this camera enables 3D selfies by identifying subjects with depth of field. In addition, the Spotlight function allows to give light to the areas to be highlighted in the photo.
