There are just a few days until the Mobile World Congress is held in Barcelona. LG will be one of the companies that will be present at the event to unveil its new flagship, the LG G8 ThinQ. In the last few hours, new data from the terminal has been leaked, this time related to the battery capacity. The new model could arrive with a greater autonomy than that of its predecessor. According to the leaks, it would equip a 3,500 mAh battery instead of the 3,000 mAh of last year.
The capacity of the phone's battery was seen in certification documents issued by the Brazilian version of the FCC called Anatel. Specifically, the certification was issued for a lithium ion battery with the model number BL-T41. The document assures that the battery would have a capacity of 3,400mAh, but in an image it appears 3,500 mAh. So how do we know what it would be like for the LG G8 ThinQ? According to the same document, the LG BL-T41 would be compatible with "Projecto Alpha", and the code name of the next flagship is "Alpha", so from there we can deduce that it would be the battery of the next flagship by LG.
As for the rest of the features that we know thanks to the leaks, the LG G8 would boast a design with a notch or notch and a 6.1-inch screen. It is also rumored that it would have an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. Likewise, it would come powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor, Qualcomm's latest beast. On a photographic level, it would repeat the formula of the LG V40 ThinQ, and would include a triple rear camera along with a double camera on the front. Another leaked detail reveals a 3.5-millimeter jack to connect headphones, a connector that we are beginning to stop seeing in a vast majority of high-end mobiles.
For now, it is better to take this data with prudence until it is officially clear. We may do it in a few days. The LG G8 ThinQ could be one of the great phones that we meet at the Mobile World Congress in February. We will be very up to date to give you new information as appropriate.
