One of the great absences of this technological event at MWC 2015 has been the South Korean company LG. Despite the fact that South Koreans have presented less media mobile phones during these days (LG Spirit, LG Joy, LG Magna or LG Leon), the smartphone that is really expected by this company is the LG G4. And, although rumors indicate that its presentation will not take place until April, in recent days rumors have appeared that suggest that the LG G4 will be presented with a renewed design compared to the previous phones in this range.
As echoed by the South Korean newspaper Korea Times from Cho Juno, head of LG's mobile division, the new LG G4 will incorporate a radically different design compared to the latest high-end LG launches. Juno does not refer to any specific changes although, considering the current trend in the mobile phone market, we can assume that the LG G4 will give much more importance to metal in its design.
And, still within the design aspect, recent rumors have revealed that the LG G4 could incorporate a digital fingerprint reader similar to that found today by smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S6 or iPhone 6. This fingerprint reader would be located on the back of the mobile, specifically in a position very close to that currently occupied by the physical buttons that LG incorporates in the LG G3.
Of course, although the source of the rumors related to the LG G4 fingerprint scanner is the South Korean newspaper KoreaHerald (which, in principle, has direct contact with the manufacturers of the new flagship of this brand), we must not forget that This was precisely the same rumor that was discussed shortly before the launch of the LG G3. Finally, the LG G3 ended up presenting itself without any type of fingerprint reader.
The technical specifications of the LG G4 have also starred in rumors in recent weeks, and in this case we are talking about much more specific information. Rumor that LG G4 incorporate a screen 5.3 inches with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (the same processor as Samsung decided rule for new Galaxy S 6 due to alleged problems heating) of eight cores, 4 GigaBytes of RAM, up to 64 GigaBytesof internal memory and a main chamber 16 megapixels. In addition, at first there was also speculation about the possibility that the LG G4 incorporated a digital pen, although finally it seems that this accessory will come in another mobile of the brand.
The presentation of the LG G4 is scheduled for the month of April. LG has not yet communicated the final date, but everything indicates that we can be sure that this new flagship will be presented at an event completely independent of the major technology fairs of the year.
