Recently, the South Korean company LG officially patented the G Pen, a digital pen intended mainly for phablet- type smartphones. We are talking about a digital pen that is already present in high-end LG mobiles such as the LG G3 Stylus (launched at the end of this year 2014) or the LG G Pro Lite (launched at the end of last year 2013). But in addition, according to a new leak, the G Pen digital pen could also come standard in the future LG G4.
This information has its origin in the US website GSMDome , where they have echoed an Asian technological medium in which they ensure that one of the next high-end smartphones from LG will incorporate a digital pen. And this is where we must be careful when interpreting this rumor, since the information could also be referring to a new version of the LG G Pro or LG G Stylus ranges that could be scheduled to be officially presented during the first months of next year. 2015.
On the other hand, we must also remember the recent rumors that revealed that LG could abandon the range of LG G Pro to focus on the development of the LG G4. In this way, speculation about the G Pen stylus would focus only on a new LG G Stylus (an unlikely option considering that the current LG G3 Stylus does not seem to be available on the European market) and the LG G4.
In any case, finally being certain of this information, the successor to the current LG G3 incorporate a similar digital pen which incorporate other smartphones competition such as, for example, the Note 4 from Samsung with its digital pen baptized under the trade name of S Pen.
Leaving aside the digital pen, the moment it is anticipated that the LG G4 incorporates a screen of 5.3 inches that could reach a resolution Quad HD with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (remember that the LG G3 now includes a screen 5.5 inches with the same resolution, 2,560 x 1,440 pixels). The design of the LG G4 has not yet been revealed in detail, but it seems that LG will seek to incorporate even more reduced side edges in its next flagship compared to those of the LG G3.
Inside the LG G4 it could house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 64-bit technology that would be backed by a RAM memory with 4 GigaBytes of capacity and a storage capacity available in versions of 32 and 64 GigaBytes. All accompanied by a primary camera of 20.7 megapixels and a battery with 3500 mAh capacity.
LG is expected to present a new smartphone during the next CES 2015, the technology event held in Las Vegas (United States) at the beginning of January. We will see if in this event we can learn official details about the new LG G4.
