The Chinese company Lenovo seems to have proposed to stand up to the large manufacturers of high-end mobile phones in the European market. Following the presentation of the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro, a mobile with a screen of six inches and a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 of four cores running at 2.5 GHz with 3 gigabytes of memory RAM, this time is the Lenovo Vibe X2 which starred a leak that has revealed its appearance to us. From what is known so far, the Lenovo Vibe X2 will be a high-end mobile that will incorporate ametal housing, and its official presentation is expected to take place during the next IFA 2014 technology event (September 5-10).
If we delve deeper into the characteristics of the Lenovo Vibe X2, the first thing we come across is a design that does not go unnoticed by anyone. The back of this mobile corresponds to a metal casing, although what is really curious lies on the side, where you can see a layered design that seems to hide several different materials throughout its thickness. This curious design is similar to the layered design that incorporated the Jolla, a smartphone that reached the Spanish market at the end of 2013.
As to their technical specifications, the Lenovo Vibe X2 seems to incorporate a screen IPS of five inches to reach a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The processor housed inside this mobile will be available in two variants: a version with an eight-core MediaTek processor (model MT6596M) and another version with an Intel processor running at 2.2 GHz clock speed. The capacity of the RAM memory is established in 2 GigaBytes. The internal storage space is 16 GigaBytes, and the operating system corresponds to Android in one of its most recent versions of Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
The leak also refers to the two cameras installed in the Lenovo Vibe X2. On the one hand, the main camera comes with a sensor of 13 megapixels, while the front camera seems to incorporate a sensor five megapixel. The battery capacity that powers all these features is 2,250 mAh, which is somewhat disappointing considering that the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro has been presented with a 4,000 mAh battery.
At the moment that is all the information that has transpired in relation to the Lenovo Vibe X2. Considering that this mobile is expected to be officially presented during IFA 2014, it is most likely that Lenovo has planning to launch it in the European market, something that would make it an interesting alternative in the high-end mobile market as long as this terminal had a reasonable starting price. At the end of the day, the rest of the high-end mobiles that are expected to be presented in the coming days (Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Sony Xperia Z3, etc.) will have a starting price that will not fall below 600 or even700 euros.
