The Chinese manufacturer Lenovo has starred in a new news in which we have learned that the launch of its next smartphone, the Lenovo S860, could take place in the middle of next May. In addition, along with this news it has also been confirmed that the battery incorporated as standard in the Lenovo S860 will have a capacity of no less than 4,000 milliamps.
The news has its origin in the official Lenovo store for India. In this store the Lenovo S860 has been announced for reservation, and together with the product it is indicated that the first shipments will begin to be made from the month of May. This information, in addition to revealing the imminent arrival of this smartphone, also creates certain doubts in relation to the final availability of the Lenovo S860. Rumors indicate that this terminal will also reach other markets (see the European market), but at the moment we do not have any information to confirm or deny this information.
What we do know is that the Lenovo S860 comes with a screen of 5.3 inches with a resolution of 720 pixels. Inside a processor hides MediaTek of four cores operating at a clock speed of 1.3 GHz in company memory RAM with a capacity of 2 gigabytes. The internal storage capacity is 16 GigaBytes, and it also incorporates a slot for external microSD memory cards. The main camera located in the rear of the terminal has a sensor eight megapixels you have at your side, aLED flash designed to improve lighting in photographs taken at night or indoors.
The operating system installed as standard will be Android, although the negative aspect of this specification is that the version that will be installed as standard is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Of course, in the announcement of this terminal itself, users are informed that, in the not too distant future, the Lenovo S860 will receive the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.
Last but not least, we have the battery. It is the star specification of this terminal, since it incorporates a capacity of 4,000 milliamps. If we translate this figure to autonomy, we will see that we are talking about a device that could offer us up to 40 days of autonomy at rest and up to 40 hours of conversation. Hopefully Lenovo has managed to take advantage of a battery with such capacity, since it could be a very interesting claim for users who need a great autonomy on their mobile without giving up modern technical specifications.
If we refer to the price of the Lenovo S860 smartphone, we will see that its starting price is set at 300 euros (approximately and without taking into account European taxes). We will have to wait a few weeks to see if this price is maintained upon arrival in European territory.
