The publication of the Beta 6 of iOS 8 has not only served to anticipate the imminent arrival of the final version of the operating system iOS 8 of Apple, but has also allowed us to know the screen resolution that could incorporate screen the iPhone 6. This resolution could be set to the 1472 x 828 pixels, thus giving rise to a pixel density of 360 ppi on the iPhone 6 4/7 inches and 308 ppi in the iPhone 6 5.5 inch.
While this information will not have any official confirmation from Apple, in the case that the resolution of 1,472 x 828 pixels is some talking would be a significantly better resolution compared to 1,136 x 640 pixels incorporating the iPhone 5S in their four inches of screen. At the moment it is unknown if the resolution that has been leaked this time corresponds to the 5.5 or 4.7-inch version of the iPhone 6, so we will have to wait until the official presentation of Apple (scheduled for September 9) for this information.
If we also echo the rumors and leaks that have been appearing in recent months, we will see that everything indicates that the iPhone 6 will incorporate certain differences between the 4.7-inch version and the 5.5-inch version (all this assuming that really Apple plan to release two different versions of your smartphone). At first it was thought that the most notable difference of both versions would be the sapphire screen, which was planned to be incorporated into the 5.5-inch iPhone 6. But, during the last weeks, different rumors have revealed thatApple could have decided to do without the sapphire screen due to the high production costs generated by this material designed mainly to offer greater resistance against shocks and drops.
What it seems to be no doubt that one of the differences between the two versions of the iPhone 6 will reside in the battery. According to a recent rumor, the battery capacity of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 would be 1,810 mAh, while the battery capacity of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 would be set at 2,915 mAh. Any of these capacities would be much higher than the capacity of the iPhone 5S battery, which having 1,560 mAh offers a range of up to 10 hours of conversation.
Moreover, the two versions of the new iPhone 6 share other specifications such as the processor (model A8 running at a clock speed of 2GHz), the main chamber (with a sensor 13 megapixels with optical stabilizer, and in principle designed by the Japanese company Sony), the design (with a slightly curved screen at its ends) and the Touch ID fingerprint reader. All this information will be confirmed or denied on September 9, the date on which Apple is expected to present both theiPhone 6 as a possible iWatch smartwatch.
