The new iPhone 6 smartphone from the US manufacturer Apple could hit stores during the second half of September this year. Leaving aside the rumors that also indicate this date as a possible time for the launch of the successor to the iPhone 5S, the truth is that Apple's own history shows us that the month of September corresponds to the most likely date for the launch of this new smartphone.
As they have done from the US website PhoneArena, this time we are going to carry out a small analysis to try to understand why we should trust that the iPhone 6 will be presented during the second half of September. The first thing to keep in mind is the recent presentation of iOS 8, a new version of the iOS operating system that is coming to succeed iOS 7.1. This new version will be published for all users from September, and taking into account that the iPhone 6 will come standard with this version of iOS, it is logical to think that AppleYou will not make the mistake of presenting your new smartphone before releasing the new version of your operating system to the public. In fact, the most logical thing to take a look at the history of Apple presentations would be to think that both events will occur at the same time.
On the other hand, the dates of the presentations of the previous phones in the iPhone range also indicate September as the most likely month for the presentation of the iPhone 6. The iPhone 4S was presented on October 14, 2011, the iPhone 5 made its appearance on September 21, 2012 and the most recent of all, the iPhone 5S, was presented on September 20, 2013. All these dates coincide in a very similar period of time, and at the moment there is no indication that could make us think that Apple wants to get out of this line of presentations.
Leaving aside the presentation and launch dates, it is also worth noting the huge number of rumors that are appearing in relation to the technical specifications of the new iPhone 6. Although there is no official confirmation in this regard, many US sources assume that Apple will present two versions of the iPhone 6: a version with a 4.7-inch screen and a somewhat larger version - and complete - with a 5.5-inch screen. According to the most recent leaks, the 5.5-inch version would incorporate an internal storage capacity of up to 128 GigaBytes, while the version of4.7 inches would come with an internal memory space that would start at 32 GigaBytes.
Even so, we must not forget that none of these rumors has an official confirmation, so there is also the possibility that the iPhone 6 will finally reach the market in a single version with a somewhat larger screen compared to the four inches of the iPhone. 5S. During the month of September all doubts will be resolved.
