What's new about the next Apple tablet. Sources consulted by the specialized site DigiTimes assure that the apple firm has started the production of its new model with a view to being presented and distributed in March 2012.
However, the iPhone 4S effect would be repeated, and we would not come across a model equipped with renewed features and design, but rather it would be an implementation of the current iPad 2. In other words, the edition that would arrive in just four months from today would be an update of the current device.
However, it would not be called iPad 3, following the nominal progression that the terminal that went on sale on March 25 continued. That future edition would arrive, they assure from DigiTimes, during the third quarter of 2012, coinciding with the also rumored launch of the iPhone 5.
In spite of everything, this information (which, we insist, the aforementioned specialized site refers to a source that it does not just specify) does not respond to Apple's habits in terms of how strange it would be to see two devices as protagonists in the same event as the iPhone 5 and iPad 3. In addition, the proximity of the launch of both tablets would be dire for the public's confidence in the firm.
Although DigiTimes insist on ensuring that the iPad 2 update would not be a completely new model, they do attribute two of the improvements that have been talked about in recent months in the form of rumors. That is, a slimmer design and renewed battery (both to fit into the new and stylish housing to extend the range useful device). However, at this point there is no data about the type of screen that the iPad would carry that would be shown in March 2012.
Recall that the future of the Apple tablet happens, as has been speculated, by the presence of a screen equipped with the so-called Retina resolution, which triggers the image definition until it reaches the spectacular concentration that the iPhone 4S and iPhone display Four.
That is, it would reach a density of 326 dots per inch on a 9.7-inch canvas. The question at this point would be if that panel is reserved for the supposed iPad 3 that according to the sources handled by DigiTimes we would not see until the third quarter of 2012, and thus, precisely what would represent a new step in the evolution of iPad screens, or if the surprise would come with the model that is being talked about for next March.
