Last week, the editor-in-chief of the site iLounge already began to cackle news about the iPad 3, but these days he goes further, and has come to ensure that he has had the new Apple tablet in his hands. Neither short nor lazy, Jeremy Horwitz has pointed out that he has managed to fiddle with the device that, supposedly, those from Cupertino would present in a couple of months.
However, as he himself maintains, he would not dare to call it iPad 3, since the differences that lie between this terminal and the one that is still in force, the iPad 2, are apparently minimal, so it would be reasonable for Apple to baptize this device as iPad 2S -an opinion that the network has echoed in recent weeks- or iPad 2HD, in clear allusion to the new screen that the tablet that could be presented soon.
For starters, Horwitz says, the new iPad is thicker than the iPad 2. Despite the fact that it had been suggested that the edition that would be launched this year would further reduce its thinness, the author of the leak denies it, and estimates that the tablet gains approximately one millimeter in thickness that, according to points, will be perceptible to the user hold this iPad in your hands and have enjoyed iPad 2 on occasion.
The reason for the increase? The iLounge pattern does not get wet, although the fact that an increase in the autonomy of the iPad 3 has been raised through various sources points to the possibility that the new battery has required a greater thickness. However, the new resolution that would be spent 9.7-inch screen - 2,048 x 1,564 pixels - perhaps also has part of the responsibility.
On the other hand, Horwitz also refers to the camera of the iPad 3. It has been said that it will install the same sensor that we have seen in the iPhone 4S. The person in charge of iLounge does not clearly emphasize this, although he does ensure that the sensor is larger than that of the iPad 2, although it still lacks an LED flash.
