Yesterday we attended the presentation of one of the cheapest mobiles in the Huawei catalog. We are talking about the Huawei Y3 2017. Well, today the company of Chinese origin has unveiled a brand new Huawei Y7.
It is (we must not lose sight that it is within the Y series) of an entry-level smartphone. Probably within the reach of a large majority of pockets.
Despite that, it is a much more advantageous proposition. And to begin with, it has a built-in battery with up to 4,000 milliamps. A very high capacity with which we will have the opportunity to enjoy a very good autonomy.
As if this were not enough, Huawei has decided to build this Huawei Y7 with Android 7 Nougat, the most recent version of Google's icon platform.
Huawei Y7, screen and power
Let's now take a look at its datasheet. To begin with, we have to indicate that the Huawei Y7 complies with measurements of 153.6 x 76.4 x 8.4 millimeters and with a weight of 165 grams. The body is completely metallic, saving the frame section, which is finished in plastic.
It has a 5.5-inch screen mounted , with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a density of 267 dots per inch. This means that we will obtain images in an acceptable quality, both when watching multimedia content and when watching video games.
Inside the device we find a Qualcomm MSM8940 Snapdragon 435 processor. It has an octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 architecture and combines its performance with an Adreno 505 graphics card (GPU). The RAM memory reaches 2 GB.
All in all, the applications will work in a fluid way and in principle we should not have problems. Unless we overload the terminal too much. We will have to be careful with that. The internal memory is 16 GB, although it can always be expanded at will of the user. The maximum supported for cards is 256 GB.
As we have indicated at the beginning, another of the great features that this Huawei Y7 brings as standard is the version of the operating system. And it works with Android 7 Nougat, seasoned with a layer of the EMUI 5.1 interface, which is the one offered by Huawei.
Huawei Y7, camera and battery
In the camera section, this Huawei Y7 is not far behind. We have to talk about a 12 megapixel main sensor, with f / 2.2 aperture, phase autofocus detection and LED flash. This will come in handy for taking quality images in poor lighting conditions.
Includes geotagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR mode and Panorama function. It is also capable of recording content at 1080p @ 30fps.
The second camera, 8 megapixels, is located on the front and has an aperture of f / 2.0. It is a good option when taking selfies.
But if this device really stands out in something, it is, without a doubt, in the autonomy section. A 4,000-milliamp lithium-ion battery is built into it. According to Huawei's own forecasts, this will allow the Huawei Y7 to withstand 20 hours of video playback and 15 hours of browsing.
They also indicate that after 500 charge cycles, the device's battery will continue to have a retention capacity of more than 80%. Which is certainly great news for the durability of the phone.
Regarding the price there is still nothing written. Everything indicates that it will arrive in Spain and that it will be available for a quantity more or less affordable for all audiences.
