After several months of rumors about the new Huawei phones, the company has just made the P40 Lite official. It does it as it had been rumored from the beginning: without Google services and a design that is supposed to be the prelude to the P40 and P40 Pro. The main novelty of the phone is found in its load, whose technology exceeds even that of the high-end of the Chinese firm. Let's see what is new about the company.

4,200 mAh battery and 40 W fast charge
Neither short nor lazy. The Asian manufacturer has chosen to integrate a fast charging system of no less than 40 W, a system that until now was limited to some high-end mobiles, such as the P30 Pro.
This tandem of specifications is complemented by a 7 nanometer Kirin 810 processor that promises more efficient energy efficiency than the P30 Lite presented last year. It is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage expandable with Huawei NM Cards.
Four cameras and a design that advances the P40 and P40 Pro
How could it be otherwise, Huawei has stamped four cameras on the back of the phone. Three 48-, 8- and 2-megapixel lenses with wide-angle, wide-angle and macro lenses and a final 2-megapixel lens to capture the depth of images in portrait mode. At the front we find a small island that houses a 16 megapixel sensor with no lens or additional function.
If we talk about the design of the terminal, the P40 Lite has a 6.4-inch body whose screen consists of a panel with IPS technology and Full HD + resolution. The chassis hardly has frames, precisely because of the presence of a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the phone. It should be noted the presence of a 3.5 mm port for the headphones, as well as a USB type C input for charging.
With Android 10. Without Google applications
So is. The phone will ship with EMUI 10, the latest version of Huawei's customization layer, based on Android 10. It will do so without integrating Google applications and services.
HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) is the ecosystem that will supply Google's solution. App Gallery will be the store that the phone will use to download the most popular Android applications.
Price and availability of the Huawei P40 Lite in Spain
Huawei's mid-range phone will be available in Spain from March 16 at a price of 300 euros. It will be available in pre-order starting March 2, with shipments scheduled for March 7. A free Huawei Freebuds 3 will be included along with a screen protector, something unusual in price range.
