At the end of February, Huawei presented what is currently considered the best folding phone of 2019. We refer to the Huawei Mate X, the brand's first flexible mobile whose characteristics even rival those of the Samsung Galaxy Fold. Of the latter, Samsung has already announced the date of presentation in the different markets, including the United States and Spain. Now thanks to a new leak through the official Huawei website we can know when the Huawei Mate X will be released on the market.
Huawei Mate X: from June for 2,299 euros
During the presentation of the Mate X in the city of Barcelona, Huawei assured that the terminal would begin to be available from the middle of the year. Rumors since then have been pointing to dates that placed the departure of the Huawei Mate X during the month of July, August and even September. A recent leak through Huawei's official website confirms that it will be from June when the terminal reaches a large part of the markets.
Although the page has already been removed from the company's website, the leak in question reveals that the Mate X will begin to be available during the month of June. At the moment, the exact date and countries where the phone will be available are unknown. Everything indicates that it will be during the first fortnight of that month of June in the main markets where the brand operates. United States, China and Spain. Later, the terminal would reach the rest of the countries of Europe and Latin America.
As for the price of the Huawei Mate X, the company announced during the official presentation that it would start at 2,299 euros both in Spain and in the rest of the world. Recall that to date only one version of the Mate X with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage is known. The rest of the features are made up of a Kirin 980 processor, an 8-inch panel with three screen formats, a 4,500 mAh battery with 55 W fast charge (the fastest until today) and 5G connectivity.
For the rest, the Huawei Mate X has three cameras of 40, 16 and 8 megapixels with wide-angle and telephoto lenses, a version of EMUI adapted to adaptive interfaces and dual-band GPS, in addition to Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n / ac and NFC.
