Huawei is currently working on the Mate 9, a high-end device, which, judging by the rumors, could come with a double camera and an iris scanner. At the moment we do not know when it would be announced. The latest leaks pointed to the month of November, although there are voices that affirm that the Asian would announce it next January at CES in Las Vegas. In any case, all the details that are happening point to a quite striking terminal with features to match: Kirin 960 processor, 20 megapixel dual camera, as well as a six-inch screen or USB Type-C port.
The iris scanner is going to be the next prominent feature in high-end terminals to make payments or increase the security of our device. Currently there are not too many that include it. The last to do so was the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, but it is expected to be a regular thing from now on. It is a sensor that is used to biometrically unlock the mobile just by looking at it. At the moment it coexists with the fingerprint reader, and it is highly recommended to use it when, for example, we are wearing gloves or have wet or dirty hands. It's a great first step. It seems, therefore, that Huawei, according to the latest rumors, will also add it to its Mate 9, although logically we do not know if it would be similar to that of theNote 7 or it would work otherwise.
Another of the great features of the Huawei Mate 9 we would find it in the camera. The Asian firm would again make use of its agreement with Leica, and would incorporate in this new model a double camera with a main sensor of 20 megapixels of resolution. We suppose that it would come with different modes and functions to improve the quality of the captures, which promise to be really good. With respect to the processor, Mate 9 could powered by a HISILICON Kirin 960 of eight cores. It would also have a metallic chassis and could be available in several versions, depending on RAM and storage capacity. In this way, we would have a Mate 9With 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, it could cost around 457 euros to change. You could also opt for this same RAM and 128 GB of storage, the price of which would go up to 524 euros. The most prominent version would have 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and would cost about 630 euros.
According to the leaks, these three versions would have a screen between 5.7 and 6 inches and a usual resolution in the company: Full HD. Rumors also hold that it would arrive in nine different colors: various shades of gold, pink, black, gray, and white. As you can see, little by little the drawing of a phone is emerging that will give a lot to talk about throughout 2017. The trend continues to be clear: a good camera, greater security and more careful materials to give an appearance of quality and elegance.
