The Huawei Mate 9 will wear two new colors that have been very popular on the Huawei P8 and Huawei P9. It is agate red and topaz blue, which will give it a much more modern and futuristic look. For now, these two new variants will only be available for the 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage model. Both appear officially on sale in the official Huawei store in China for shipments starting next May 14.
With these last two additional colors, the Mate 9 is now available in 8 different colors: gold, silver, brown, white, gray, black, and now agate red and topaz blue. As expected, these two new variants will have the same features as always. That is, only the color changes, since the chassis also remains the same. What we do not know for now is whether they will leave China or will only be available to customers in the area.
Same characteristics different color
The Huawei Mate 9 was announced last November. The terminal sports a very elegant design, built entirely in aluminum, with a glass front. It is a stylish phone, with a fingerprint reader on the back to make payments or increase security. The screen of the Huawei Mate 9 has a size of 5.9 inches and a Full HD resolution. Inside we find a Kirin 960 processor, an eight-core chip, four of them of the A73 type running at 2.4 GHZ, and another four of the A53 type running at a speed of 1.8 GHz. This SoC is also accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
As for the photographic section, the Huawei Mate 9 offers a dual camera with Leica seal of 20 and 12 megapixels. The front camera, meanwhile, has a resolution of 8 megapixels. For the rest, it also has a 4,000 mAh battery and Android 7.0 Nougat.
