Huawei, like the vast majority of manufacturers, usually launches two high-end models a year. At the beginning of the year we got to know the new P30 family, while at the end of the year the novelties in the Mate range are usually presented. This year, despite all the controversy generated after the United States veto, the company will launch the Huawei Mate 30 in September. And precisely because of the aforementioned veto it seems that the new Mate could become Huawei's first mobile with its own operating system.
Manufacturers work tirelessly in the preparation of the mobiles that we will see after the summer. The Huawei Mate 30 (and its brothers Mate 30 Pro and Mate 30 Lite) will be one of the most prominent, without a doubt. First, because it always is, since the Mate range usually improves what is seen in the P range. And second, because we are all impatient to see what Huawei will do after the Google veto. According to information leaked today, the Mate 30 will be Huawei's first mobile with the HongMeng OS operating system (this will be its name at least in China).
The person who has published this information also ensures that the Huawei Mate 30 will be presented on September 22. In addition, the commented Huawei operating system seems to be confirmed for China, but it is not clear if international models will have it.
This operating system was registered as soon as the commercial ban imposed by the Trump administration was announced. The Ark OS name was also registered, so the latter is assumed to be the international name of the system.
New Kirin processor and four cameras
The user who has leaked this information ensures that the Huawei Mate 30 will include the Kirin 985 processor. It is a 7nm chipset that would be manufactured using extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography technology. Rumor has it that it will be a 5G-ready chipset, with a Balong 5000 5G modem included. That is, we will have a 5G version of the Mate 30.
For the rest, there is talk of an OLED screen of no less than 6.71 inches. At the moment you do not know what kind of solution Huawei will adopt for the front camera, but it is very likely that it is a notch in the shape of a drop.
Finally, it seems almost certain that the terminal will have a four-camera system on its back. According to the renders, it will be placed in the central area forming a square. That is, the distribution will be different from the view on the Huawei P30 Pro. In addition, it has also been commented that the Huawei Mate 30 could equip a 4,200 mAh battery with fast charging at 55W.
