During the official presentation of the Huawei Ascend P7 we learned that the starting price of this terminal would be around 450 euros. This time, a German store specializing in electronic products has listed this smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer Huawei with a starting price of 420 euros, which prompts us to think that this will be the final price that we will receive in European territory.
In addition, this store has also revealed that the Huawei Ascend P7 will begin to be available in European stores from this same month of June (although we still do not know the exact release date). What is really interesting is the small reduction that this terminal has suffered before its launch, since one of the most criticized aspects of its presentation was the high starting price with which Huawei wanted to introduce it in the European market. The 420 euros is a much more interesting figure considering the great difference that there is compared to the 500 and even 600 euros that the flagships of other brands currently cost (Samsung Galaxy S5 or HTC One M8, for example).
Now, it should also be noted that there are notable differences between these two giants and Huawei's flagship. The first of these differences resides in the processor, since while the Samsung and HTC terminals incorporate a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the Huawei Ascend P7 comes with a HiSilicon Kirin 910 T processor (developed by the Chinese company itself). The difference in the processors is also notable when comparing the clock speed of each of them: the processor of the Galaxy S5 works at 2.5 GHz, the One M8 does it at 2.3 GHzand that of the P7 runs at 1.8 GHz.
On the other hand, the Huawei Ascend P7 has several points in its favor compared to the competition. The first is its design, since we are talking about a terminal whose thickness is so only 6.5 millimeters. This is a very interesting figure because it is a remarkably inner thickness versus 8.1 millimeters of the Galaxy S5 and 9.4 mm of the M8 One. For the rest, the design of these three terminals is quite similar in terms of the size of the screen and the distribution of the main elements (see the buttons of the operating system, although in the case of the Galaxy S5 they are physical).
Obviously the design is not an excessively decisive factor when buying a mobile, so we will have to wait to see if this new starting price for the Huawei Ascend P7 is finally confirmed. If so, we will be facing a terminal to take into account if we are looking for a mobile with high-end specifications that does not exceed the dangerous barrier of 500 euros. And once several weeks have passed since its launch, we are most likely talking about a price that will be remarkably close to 300 euros, which will be even more balanced for the specifications of this smartphone.
