The HTC One Mini 2, the compact version of the HTC One M8 from the Taiwanese company HTC, could hit European stores at the end of June. In addition, it also seems to be increasingly confirmed that the starting price of this smartphone will be around 600 euros. If this last data is confirmed, we would be facing a price slightly lower than that of the HTC One M8 during its presentation (700 euros).
And it is that although today we still do not have an official confirmation of the existence of a compact version of the HTC One M8, rumors and leaks have allowed us to know a large part of the technical specifications of this mobile. In fact, photographs have also appeared through which we have been able to know that the main camera of the HTC One Mini 2 will incorporate a conventional sensor that will replace the dual-camera that we can currently find in the flagship of this manufacturer. This camera will come with a sensor of 13 megapixels, so we can also see that HTC seems to have decided to part with technology UltraPixel during the design of this mobile.
Regarding the technical specifications of the HTC One Mini 2, rumors suggest that we are facing a mobile that incorporate a screen 4.5 inches with a resolution of 720 pixels. It would be a difference of half an inch compared to the screen of the HTC One M8, so it is to be assumed that the design of the terminal would be slightly more compact than that of its older brother. Once inside, the first thing we find is a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 of four cores that operate at a clock speed of 1.4 GHz with a memory RAM of 1 gigabyte. In this regard, there would be a notable difference compared to the original version of this mobile, and in fact we would practically speak of 1 GHz less in the processor and 1 GigaByte less in the capacity of the RAM.
It is also important to note that the internal storage capacity will be 16 GigaBytes, expandable through an external microSD memory card up to a maximum of 128 GigaBytes. The operating system installed as standard will be Android in its latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
All these technical specifications belong to rumors, so we have no choice but to wait for an official move by HTC. Taking into account that the launch of this mobile is stipulated for the end of June, there is a good chance that its presentation will take place during the first fortnight of the same month of June. Although initially it is expected that the HTC One Mini 2 will end up costing about 600 euros, we must be careful when talking about the price of this mobile until an official announcement is made.
