The Honor 8 is now official in Europe. The device is presented as one more alternative between high-end terminals, with an elegant design and very interesting features. It won't be long before we can enjoy it. Pre-reservations will begin on August 24 and shipments will begin to be made from September 1. Of course, at the moment there are no details about the price, although we can be guided by those that are handled in China, where it is already for sale.
The cheapest version of the Honor 8 with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB memory costs about 300 euros in China, while the version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage goes up to 350 euros. However, as is usually the case, everything is more expensive when it arrives in Europe. This means that the Honor 8 could land on the old continent for around 400 euros, although we expect the most basic version to be somewhat cheaper. In any case, it is a device that is good to take into account, especially those who need a terminal with competent features and do not want to leave their pocket on the road.
The Honor 8 draws attention, above all, for its design. The company has chosen crystal on this occasion to give it a note of elegance and glamor. The phone is also surrounded by thin aluminum frames. At the back, the glass has been arranged in different layers to achieve a shiny effect that reflects light. The layers have been treated to avoid finger stains. The device's screen has a size of 5.2 inches and a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). Something that is striking is that the Honor 8 includes an eye protection system that prevents visual fatigue when we spend too much time using it.
Inside this new model we find an eight-core Kirin 950 processor, as well as a Mali T880 graphics card and 3 or 4 GB of RAM depending on the version. For its part, in terms of internal storage capacity, we also find two versions: 32 GB or 64 GB, both expandable through the use of an external MicroSD memory card. The photographic section is one of the highlights of the device. The Honor 8 arrives with a 12-megapixel dual main sensor (with f / 2.2 lens). It is a Sony IMX268 dual sensor, with which we can obtain sharper and brighter images. On the front we find an 8 megapixel resolution sensor with the popular beauty mode, which achieves more defined and natural selfies.
As for the rest of the features, the Honor 8 also equips a 3000 mAh battery with a fast charge function, which will offer the user up to 50 percent more autonomy in just half an hour of charging. For its part, it has a fingerprint sensor (located on the back), wide-level connections: Dual SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.2, aGPS / Glonass / Beidou, NFC, as well as a USB Type-C port.
