The Honor 7i, Honor's smartphone with the slide-out camera, looks like it won't finally be limited exclusively to the Asian market. The Honor 7i, presumably called Huawei ShotX in European territory, will also be on sale in Europe, and its launch will take place with a starting price set at 350 euros. In fact, some German stores have already begun to offer the possibility of reserving this Honor smartphone which, remember, is presented with the peculiarity that it incorporates a main camera that is extracted from its position and that serves, at the same time, as frontal camera.
It was precisely the German website WinFuture.de that has sounded the alarm regarding the availability of the Honor 7i in Europe. At the moment, we do not know if the distribution of this mobile in the European market will be carried out by Honor, the company that is about to celebrate a year in the market, or if it will be Huawei that will launch this terminal under its own brand. What is clear is that the Honor 7i or the Huawei ShotX will have a starting price of 350 euros in Europe, which will place it at the level of other Honor smartphones of the same price range as the Honor 7 (350 euros) or, a little cheaper, theHonor 6 (300 euros).
In addition to its striking main chamber (of 13 megapixel with dual-LED flash, by the way) the Honor 7i was introduced in the Asian market with technical specifications that passed through a screen of 5.2 inches with resolution Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), a processor Snapdragon 616 of eight cores, a graphics processor Adreno 405, 16 / 32 gigabytes of memory (expandable microSD), 2 / 3 gigabytes of RAM,Android 5.1 Lollipop (with EMUI 3.1 customization layer) and a battery with a capacity set at 3,100 mAh. In addition, the Honor 7i also has a fingerprint reader, located on one of the sides of the mobile.
At the time, one of the main concerns of users regarding the Honor 7i pointed to the sliding camera mechanism. The fact that this camera can be rotated raised certain doubts regarding its resistance to the passage of time, but Honor wanted to clear up all doubts in the presentation of the 7i by ensuring that the main camera mechanism can remain functional for at least two years. and that with use of the mechanism of rotation of up to 132 times a day.
