It was to be expected that, after the landing of the Honor 6 (300 euros) and Honor 6 Plus (400 euros) in the European market, sooner or later it would also be the turn of the recently presented Honor 7. As confirmed by a senior official in the company, the Honor 7 will be available in Europe at the end of this year 2015. The confirmation has occurred coinciding with the announcement of the good reception that the Honor 7 has had in the Asian market, where it has managed to reach the not inconsiderable figure of nine million reservations in just seven days.
As confirmed in an interview in the Italian newspaper Corriere.it, the Honor 7 will hit the European market during the month of September. In this interview, conducted with George Zhao (a senior Honor official), it is also disclosed that the Honor 7 can only be purchased in Europe through the Amazon e-commerce store, although we still do not know the starting price under that this terminal will arrive. Taking into account that the most basic model of the Honor 7 starts from 290 euros in China, and remembering the prices under which the Honor 6 and Honor 6 Plus were launched, we assume that we are talking about a starting price of less than 400 euros.
The Honor 7, for those who do not know it, is the smartphone with which Honor (a company that, in reality, was born under the aegis of Huawei) will seek to capture users who are in search of a balanced mobile in quality / price ratio. The Honor 7 incorporates a screen of 5.2 inches (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), a processor HISILICON Kirin 935 of eight cores, 3 gigabytes of RAM, 16 / to 64 gigabytes of internal storage (with microSD), a main chamber20 megapixel camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop (with EMUI 3.1) and a battery with 3,100 mAh capacity.
In itself, the characteristics of this terminal are quite striking, but they are even more so if we analyze its technical specifications a little more in depth. If we look at the back of the Honor 7, we will see that the fingerprint reader is located under the camera, which has the same design as the one we can find in the Huawei Ascend Mate 7. The processor is accompanied by a Mali-T628 graphics processor, while the RAM is of the LPDDR3 type. The main camera incorporates a Sony IXM230 sensor, and is accompanied by a Dual-LED Flash.
While we wait for the launch of the Honor 7 in Europe, we can also take the opportunity to take a look at the rest of the mobiles that this company distributes in Europe. That includes, in addition to the Honor 6 and its respective Honor 6 Plus variant, the Honor Holly (available for 120 euros), the Honor 4X (200 euros) or the Honor 3C (200 euros, and we had the opportunity to test it at the time.).
