Just yesterday there was the official presentation of the Honor 6 Plus from the Chinese company Huawei, a new high-end smartphone that offers a somewhat larger alternative (5.5-inch screen) to the current Honor 6 (five-inch). And although at first the Honor 6 Plus was only confirmed for the Asian market, today we have officially learned that the new Huawei Honor 6 Plus will not arrive in Europe. Therefore, European users will have to settle for the Honor 6, which is available for approximately 300 euros.
The confirmation has been known through the US website GSMArena , where they have echoed the statements of a Huawei official who has stated that “ Honor is a brand guided by the users themselves, and in Asia users demand mobile phones of the phablet ", and adds that" that is why we developed the Honor 6 Plus ". In addition, this person in charge has also commented that " in Europe there is a lower demand for phablets, and our objective today is to satisfy the needs of European users with the Honor 6 and Honor 3C ". In short,Huawei does not appear to have any short-term plans to launch the Honor 6 Plus in Europe.
The Honor 6 Plus belongs to the new Honor brand that Huawei has created with the intention of offering somehow smartphones with upper-mid-range specifications at competitive prices. The Honor 6 Plus is presented with features such as a screen of 5.5 inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a processor HiSillicon Kirin 930 of eight cores running at 1.8 GHz with 3 gigabytes of RAM, 16 / 32 gigabytes of internal memory, amain double-camera of eight megapixels, a battery with 3,600 mAh capacity and, of course, the operating system Android in its version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
In this way, users who want to resort to a recent, high-end Huawei phablet will have no choice but to purchase the Huawei Ascend Mate 7. The Mate 7 incorporates a screen of no less than six inches whose resolution amounts to 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Inside a processor is housed HISILICON Kirin 925 of eight cores supported by a memory RAM of two gigabytes (3 Gigabytes in case version premium , 100 euros more expensive than the conventional version). The internal storage capacity is 16 GigaBytes in the case of the conventional version and 32 GigaBytes in the case of the more expensive version.
All other features of the Mate 7 are identical in both versions: a main camera of 13 megapixel, connectivity 4G for ultra-fast Internet, a battery with 4,100 mAh capacity and operating system Android in its version of Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Let us also remember that the premium version of the Mate 7, the one that costs 100 euros more and includes a greater RAM memory and a greater internal storage capacity, will be available from the month of January; the conventional version of the Huawei Ascend Mate 7It can now be purchased in Spain for 500 euros, as we announced at the time.
