Its landing in the US market a few days ago foreshadowed that Huawei would also have the intention of launching the new Honor 5X on the old continent. So it seems that it will be, as we can see in vMall, the official online store of the company for Europe. As soon as you enter the web, an image of the device appears next to a counter that directly indicates the time remaining for it to be put on sale. Specifically, there are 9 days left, which indicates that the Honor 5X will begin to be available from next February 4.
At the moment the price is unknown, but a discount of 30 euros is shown for all those who dare to purchase the new device. As reported on the website, 20 euros would be used as a discount for the purchase of the terminal and the other 10 euros could be used in future purchases. The user will simply have to enter their email and be aware of it. As far as we know, Huawei will ship the Honor 5X to a wide selection of European countries, including our own. The selected countries are the following: United Kingdom, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain.
There is less to go until February 4, the day on which the Honor 5X will begin to arrive in Europe. The deployment will be carried out progressively, as has happened on other occasions, according to stocks and depending on the country. Announced during the CES celebration in Las Vegas last January, the Honor 5X is a device that perfectly meets the demands of any user looking for a mid-range at a good price, elegant and with competitive features. The device equips a 5.5-inch FullHD screen, which position it within the phablet category. Despite the size of its screen, this is not an excessively large mobile, especially considering that it is thin and does not weigh too much.
Another of its great virtues is design. The Honor 5X is made of metal, which gives it a premium look. It also has a fingerprint reader on the back (just below the camera), which is always an extra attraction to take into account. Inside the phone we find a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 processor (eight cores), which is accompanied by a 2GB RAM, a figure that is currently present in the vast majority of mid-range ranges on the market.
Regarding the photographic section, we can say that the Honor 5X perfectly meets the demands of an amateur user. While the main camera is 13 megapixels and is equipped with double LED Flash, the secondary camera has 5 megapixels of resolution, perfect for video conferencing and selfies at a moderately acceptable quality. Regarding the rest of the features, we will say that the device also offers 16GB of internal storage (expandable) and a lithium-ion battery with 3,000 milliamps capacity. Next February 4 we will know its price and we can begin to test all its virtues, which as you can see are not few.
