The Honor 4X, also known as Honor Cherry 4X, is a new smartphone from the European brand Honor - owned by Huawei - that is presented within the Spanish market with a 5.5-inch screen accompanied by a quad- core processor, 2 gigabytes of RAM, a main camera of 13 megapixels and a battery of 3000 mAh capacity, to mention some of its most representative features. And it turns out that, for a few days, this smartphone can already be purchased in Spain for a price set at 200 euros, although it is only available in the PcComponentes e-commerce store . In addition, at the moment it is only possible to carry out your purchase through the pre-reservation process, and it will not be until April 20 when the first units will begin to be sent to users.
With this launch in national territory, the Honor 4X becomes part of the Honor family, a company that brings together more and more low-mid-range smartphones within the entire European market. The latest releases of this company date back to the Honor 6+ and the Honor Holly, two mobile that for some months you can buy (in the case of the Honor 6+, you can buy coming soon) for a price of 400 and 120 euros, respectively. The Honor 4X, to give us an idea of the range to which it belongs, it is halfway between both phones, both in terms of its specifications and in terms of its price.
Before going into the specific characteristics of the Honor 4X, it is worth noting that from the first moment Honor makes special mention of the battery of this smartphone. This battery has a capacity of 3,000 mAh, and Honor ensures that with this capacity it is possible to obtain up to 72 hours of continuous use. The official autonomy figures also mention specific numbers that include up to 200 hours of standby and up to 15 hours of conversation, and it is difficult to corroborate or deny these figures until the first tests of autonomy of this mobile start to appear.
The Honor 4X incorporates a 5.5-inch screen that brings this device closer to what we could consider as a phablet- type mobile. This screen reaches a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, which results in a pixel density in the set screen 267 ppi. Although Honor has decided to not yet leap to new processors Qualcomm 6xx that characterize mobile midrange go on the market in the coming months include the Honor 4X is powered by a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 with four coresreaching a clock speed of 1.2 GHz in company with a memory RAM of 2 gigabytes. The internal memory is 8 GigaBytes and, taking into account that the real space available to users is practically reduced by half, it is important to note that this capacity can be expanded through a microSD card of up to 32 GigaBytes.
To finish presenting this smartphone, we also have to highlight that the operating system that the Honor 4X has installed as standard corresponds to Android in the Android version 4.4.2 KitKat (although it seems that it will not take long to update to Lollipop, as as revealed to us by Huawei's leaked Lollipop update schedule). The main camera is 13 megapixels, while the front camera incorporates a sensor to five megapixels.
