One of the mobile devices that is creating the most expectations is the Pixel 4, since Google is expected to surprise with some new dynamics, either in the design or in its photographic section.
A few weeks ago, Google raised expectations by showing some design details with an image shared on Twitter, but then it has kept silent. So we will have to settle for some news that comes from different sources and renders that leave us excited with some interesting functions.
This is what is known or speculated so far about the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL.
Design and photographic section
Rumor has it it will feature a large screen with slim bezels. But this dynamic is only demonstrated on the sides, the top bezel would be much thicker as it would be the designated place for the two front cameras. As we mentioned before, Google would not opt for holes or notches on the Pixel 4.
The potential of these cameras is not yet known, but perhaps we will find a combination of a main sensor with a wide angle and extra functions for great selfies. And in the upper part there would also be a gesture sensor offering users the dynamics of giving orders to the device through a series of gestures to be determined.
And following the line of sensors, a series of them would be used to integrate a 3D facial recognition system. Perhaps from Google's proposal the Face ID competition will be born.
The renders and some leaks have hinted that the Pixel 4 XL will have a triple camera in a square module, like the render they share on Pricebaba and comment on PhoneArena. Although Google's Pixels have always stood out for their great camera power, this would be the first time they have tried to leave their original proposal and opt for a square photographic section.
So according to the sources, the camera combination would offer a main sensor, a 16 MP telephoto, LED flash and a spectral sensor that would add a plus when recording videos. And one of the latest news talks about a telephoto lens thanks to the Google Camera app.
That is, a totally different proposal to the one Google has shown us in its previous Pixels. Nothing less than a combination of 5 cameras: front dual camera and rear triple camera.
We will see if these leaks are fulfilled and the new Google proposal meets the expectations of users.
