The Google Pixel 4 is still one of the most anticipated terminals of the year. Everyone is waiting to see what the search giant can do this year in the photographic section. But we don't just want to know the photographic section of this mobile. Also its design, since we do not know if Google will opt for the notch, the holes in the screen or some retractable system (very unlikely). When it seemed that the final design would be that of the image that heads this article, some new renders have appeared that change this design. Now it seems that the Pixel 4 will look more like the supposed iPhone XI that runs on the network.
We had been some months in which it seemed that the possible final appearance of the Pixel 4 was clear. The latest leaks showed a mobile with capacitive buttons instead of physical ones and a hole in the screen to place the front cameras, in the purest Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus style. Now OnLeaks, a page quite reliable in terms of leaks, has published new images of a render based on "very current prototype schematics. " So were the previous models wrong?
Possible new design of the Google Pixel 4
The truth is that the images do not have much quality. In addition, they show a black terminal on a black background, so it is difficult to appreciate some details. Still, we see a clear design change from the renders leaked so far.
First and foremost, the images reveal that the Google Pixel 4 will have a rear camera module very similar to the one shown in the supposed renders of the next iPhone. Unlike what has been shown so far, the new Pixel appears to have a square-shaped camera module. What we cannot see in the images is whether this module has one, two, three or four cameras. At first all the rumors spoke of a possible change to a double sensor, but now we have the doubt again.
If we keep to the rear, we can see that there is no trace of the fingerprint reader. This could mean that either Google has used an under-screen sensor; Either you are going to switch to a face unlock system. The first option seems more likely.
We continue to reel off the images to see if we can figure out something from the front. And the truth is that these renders show practically no detail of it. At the top is a small elongated hole for what appears to be a speaker or microphone. However, this does not have to mean that we will have a notch. You have this same hole in the Samsung S10 Plus and it has no notch.
However, in these new renders you do not see any type of front camera system. They may be set in holes at the top right, as the first image of the article shows, and simply not in sight. Or, Google may have decided to put in a large notch.
For the rest, these new images show us side buttons. Although it is true that these do not have the usual appearance. Is it true that they are capacitive? We will have to wait to find out. Finally, comment that, according to other rumors, the Google Pixel 4 will have IP68 certification for resistance to water and dust, a larger battery combined with a fast charging system and, possibly, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 processor. As you know, all this information is based on rumors and leaks, so you always have to take it with a grain of salt. In a relatively short time we will know what the new Google mobile is finally like.
