The South Korean company Samsung is continuing with the project of its economic version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Despite the fact that there is still no official confirmation on the existence of this terminal, the truth is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is gradually being seen through different rumors and leaks that occur on the network. The last of these leaks belongs to an image in which the request for approval sent shown Samsung to the FCC (the Federal Communications Commission of the United States). Although no exact details about this phone are revealed in this image, it is at least one hundred percent confirmed that the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is a reality that could hit stores this year.
The scant information that has been seen in the request sent by Samsung to the official mobile phone agency in the United States is directly related to the connectivity of the Note 3 Neo. Apparently, despite being a mid-range phone, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will incorporate ultra-fast 4G internet connectivity. In addition to this, the conventional WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connections also appear.
A few days ago the characteristics of the Galaxy Note 3 Neo were also leaked, accompanied by a photograph in which you can see the appearance of this phone (it is the terminal that appears on the left of the image). This leak indicated that the Note 3 Neo would incorporate a 5.55-inch screen with HD resolution (the same resolution as the Note 2). Inside the phone in principle we would find a six-core processor that would have a rather curious peculiarity. It would be a processor divided into two sections: on the one hand we would have two coresrunning at a speed of 1.7 GHz, while on the other hand we would have four cores running at a clock speed of 1.3 GHz. In total, it would be a six-core processor whose name is unknown for now. To this processor we would have to add a RAM of 2 GigaBytes and an internal storage capacity of 16 GigaBytes, expandable up to 64 GigaBytes through a microSD storage card.
Regarding this camera midrange terminal would find two cameras, a main camera of eight megapixels and a front camera of 1.9 megapixels. All these specifications would be possible thanks to a battery with a capacity of 3100 mAh.
The operating system for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo would be Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but we must not rule out the possibility that the South Korean company is encouraged to update this phone at some point to Android 4.4 KitKat (the latest version of the Android operating system).
And most important of all: the price and the release date. Regarding the price, there is no official data, but rumors suggest that it could be between 350 and 450 euros. As for the launch date, we will have to wait for the next MWC (Mobile World Congress) held in Barcelona from February 24 to see if Samsung decides to present the Note 3 Neo at this event.
