The new Google flagship (and there are already three) will go on sale in stores on the Old Continent from November 17. It has been the own manufacturer of the Galaxy Nexus, the South Korean firm Samsung, which has confirmed the data through its official Twitter account, where it certifies that the phone that was presented in Hong Kong on October 19 will be available in Europe to from the second fortnight of next month.
It will be then when this interesting smartphone begins to be distributed, which not only raises interest due to its technical features, but also because it is the first, as usual, to launch the new generation of the house's native platform, which with the Galaxy Nexus will open Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) line. One of the most curious points about this operating system is the fact that it is the first that has been developed with the hybrid vocation of providing support for mobiles and tablets indistinctly.
It is true that there are tablets that work with Android 2.1 Eclair and Android 2.2 FroYo. But in those cases, it is an adaptation for tablets of both versions of the platform that were developed oriented to work mainly on mobiles. The situation of ICS is that the same platform has been created to work natively in these two types of terminals, with variations derived from the specifications of each device.
Returning to the Galaxy Nexus, this mobile features a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD screen. This kind of panel allows quality brightness and spectacular color, developing a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. It has a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and one GB of RAM. The camera takes photos capture series with a top quality five megapixel, capable also filming videos with high definition results in its most powerful range (FullHD).
The Galaxy Nexus is a mobile that carries almost everything that could be expected in connections, considering 3G sensors , Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth and microUSB. Only the option of accessing super-high-speed LTE mobile networks and the presence of an HDMI video and audio output that is conspicuous by its absence remains in the pipeline.
