The day sounded: October 4. Tuesday, October 4. That will be the day that Apple presents its novelties for this season, or in other words, when the iPhone 5 makes its appearance (or whatever this device is finally called).
The All Things Digital site would have confirmed through Apple sources that the Cupertino firm already has on the agenda that day as the one chosen for the celebration of an event in San Francisco, which could not be other than the one that the company reserves to show the news of your most popular devices: apple phones.
And we refer to it in the plural because, according to the latest rumors, this year Apple would surprise with the simultaneous launch of two new models: the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 Plus.
The first would be the latest generation phone with all the technical advances that the company would have incorporated in order to be among the most cutting-edge mobiles on the market; the second would be an update to the iPhone 4, entering a new category that Apple would open, dedicating itself to the upper-middle-range segment (where Android has become especially strong in the last year).
The information from All Things Digital does not include clues about the launch of the new terminal (or the new terminals), although various sources have already pointed to the second half of October as the time for the commercial premiere of the iPhone 5.
You will remember that the CEO of Orange in France came to point out that his company would start selling the new Apple phone from October 15 (Saturday), so the dates would match what the aforementioned digital medium has just revealed.
On the other hand, the event would not only allegedly have the presence of the new devices of the Cupertino firm (among which could also be the new iPod Touch), but it would be the first presentation of Tim Cook after the resignation of Steve Jobs to the position of CEO of the company.
It is not the first appearance of Cook in this context, although on previous occasions he did it as acting responsible for indispositions of the charismatic Jobs. On this occasion, their presence will be that of the person who commands the Apple boat, so the event takes on a tone of greater expectation if possible.
