We know that Huawei preferred not to present the new Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro at the MWC, as it will do so at a special event on March 26. However, that does not mean that the new top of the range of the Chinese manufacturer were not in Barcelona. As seen in a photo taken during the fair, the CEO of Huawei had the new P30 Pro with him. Although it was covered with a cover, the image makes it quite clear that it is the new model.
Being the CEO of a large mobile company has the advantage that you can test new devices before anyone else. However, it also has the danger that you can show them to the public ahead of time. Or maybe he did it on purpose, we will never know. But the truth is that a photo has revealed that Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei, brought the new Huawei P30 Pro to the MWC in Barcelona.

This is the image in question. Richard Yu is the one on the left. If we look closely, it shows a terminal with a cover that has a triple camera in vertical format. It could be the Huawei P20 Pro, but if you look at the case, it reveals a small area just to the right of the main system. This coincides with the latest renders that have been published on the device. And also with the last real image that we have seen of the terminal.
Possible final design of the Huawei P30 Pro
Although there is still a little less than a month for the presentation of the new P30, the truth is that the leaks are practically daily. One of the last was published by the well-known Roland Quandt through the WinFuture medium. In them we can see some renderings, which could well be press images, that show the Huawei P30 Pro in great detail.
Now we will talk about the rest of the features. But what makes us think that the CEO of Huawei wore the Huawei P30 Pro at MWC is the small addition that is seen right next to the triple camera. According to the leaked information, the P30 Pro could include a fourth ToF-type sensor. This would be the small black dot that we see under the flash, hence the case that Yu was wearing had an opening on that side.
As for the rest of the features, it is said that the terminal will have a 6.5-inch screen with OLED technology. In addition, it will curve on the sides in the purest style of Samsung mobiles. As we can see, Huawei will opt for a drop-shaped notch and a minimal frame at the bottom.
This will make the fingerprint reader take under the screen, as we saw in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Inside, the Kirin 980 processor that, according to rumors, could be accompanied by 12 GB of RAM. A 40W fast charging system is also expected.
Four cameras with new optical zoom
And as for the photographic section, today new "real" images have appeared in Slashleaks that show the supposed Huaewi P30 Pro. Only the back is seen, but this clearly reveals the possible photographic system that the expected device will include.
If we listen to the rumors, the P30 Pro will have a triple camera with wide, super wide and telephoto lenses. So far the usual. But the great novelty could be, in addition to the incorporation of a fourth ToF sensor, in that the telephoto lens provides an optical zoom of no less than 10x. In fact, if you look at the image above you will see that the third sensor has a square shape, which suggests that it will not be a normal sensor.
For now we will have to wait to confirm all this information, but it seems that on March 26 there will not be many surprises to be revealed.
