Meizu has presented a new product at MWC 2017 in Barcelona that has left everyone with a great taste in their mouths: a new charging system that promises one hundred percent in less than 20 minutes. What does it matter that our phone has only 2,700mAh of battery, if in ten minutes of charging we will be able to have an additional 50%? That is what is achieved thanks to Meizu's new fast charging system, the Super mCharge.
11 times faster than iPhone 7 Plus
With this new fast charging system, 11 times faster than what we can see in high-end terminals such as the iPhone 7 Plus, with having the mobile connected to the network for only 5 minutes we will have more than a quarter of a full charge. If we look at the technical specifications of this new Super mCharge charger, we see that it will supply the equipment with 11V, 55W of power and 5A. These numbers are responsible for the fact that, in the blink of an eye, we have enough load to get us out of more than one predicament.
Fast charging without damaging the battery, guaranteed
Meizu has repeated, by active and passive, that the terminal will not suffer any damage even when exposed to such high temperatures so that it charges more quickly. This is possible thanks to the fact that its new terminals will be prepared for it, reducing the heat that can reach the battery, keeping it at a suitable temperature of about 38 degrees Celsius.
The new charging system of Meizu Super mCharge makes use, of course, of the USB type-C connection for its operation. In addition, those responsible for the firm have ensured that the batteries that support this type of charge will not see their useful life limited, reaching more than 800 complete cycles without reducing autonomy.
