As reported by the technology medium Phone Arena, very soon we will have an update of the mobile section of the Asus brand. Specifically, the Asus Zenfone Max 3 model is currently being updated to the Android 8.1.0 version, the latest so far and before the renewal of the green robot's operating system makes its appearance. This new update will also be accompanied by its own for its customization layer, ZenUI 5.0.
Update your Asus Zenfone Max 3 now
In an unusual turn of events, in these times of planned obsolescence, it is surprising that a terminal that appeared in stores in August 2016 is still at the foot of the canyon, receiving system updates. Remember that only Android and Android One terminals are guaranteed those two years of updates. The rest of the brands must adapt these updates to their customization layers, so the update times and deadlines do not have to coincide. And you have to remember, too, that Asus has a customization layer.
To make sure that you already have the update in your possession, you just have to look in the notification curtain in case it has already appeared. You can also go to the phone's settings and, in the section 'About the phone' (or similar), look, manually, if you have an update. Before proceeding to install the update, you should consider the following.
- Have enough battery available so that the phone does not turn off during the installation process. If this happens, your phone could be disabled.
- Have enough space for the installation file. Delete the photos and videos that you no longer want and make sure you have room to spare.
- Make a backup of your files in case the installation fails and you have to completely format the terminal. To do this, you just have to save all the information on your phone on an external memory or hard drive.
Also keep in mind that operating system update files are usually very large, so you must be connected with WiFi if you do not want your data to fly.
