At the beginning of September Alcatel unveiled a new terminal called Alcatel 3x 2020 at the IFA in Berlin. Almost two months later, the company has put it on sale in Spain in a single version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage box in black. Its price is 160 euros and it can be purchased from today through authorized distributors such as Carrefour, MediaMarkt or Amazon, as well as with operators.
This device comes to succeed the 2018 and 2019 versions, so it should not be confused with them. The device has evolved, this time offering an all-screen design with a notch in the shape of a drop of water and a rear part that does not lack a triple camera and a fingerprint sensor to make payments or increase security. The screen of the Alcatel 3x 2020 has a size of 6.52 inches and an HD + resolution (1,600 x 720 pixels). Inside there is room for a MediaTek MT6763V processor, better known as Helio P23. It is an eight-core chip with a maximum speed of 2 GHz accompanied by a Mali-G71 MP2 GPU.
As for the photographic section, the Alcatel 3x 2020 includes three main cameras composed of a first 16 megapixel sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, followed by a second wide-angle sensor with 118º of 8 megapixel field of view with f / 2.2 aperture and a third of 5 MP and aperture f / 2.4. The sensor for selfies has a resolution of 8 megapixels with 1.12 micron pixels and 80.6º field of view. For the rest, this model also has a 4,000 mAh battery without fast charging. The company ensures that it has a charging time of 2 hours and 42 minutes with a talk time of 30 hours (2G), 24 hours (3G and 4G) or a standby time of 500 hours (2G and 3G) and 400 hours (4G).
The Alcatel 3x 2020 is governed by Android 9 Pie and offers a wide array of connectivity options: USB-C, NFC, Dual SIM, 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi and LTE. It also has a face unlock, FM radio and a fingerprint reader on the back. As we say, its price is 160 euros in a single version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage (expandable through the use of microSD cards).
