It was during the celebration of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona when Alcatel launched the Alcatel 1S, a mobile aimed at the lower mid-range with double camera, facial unlocking using software, Spreadtrum SC9863A processor and Android 9 Pie as the base system. After three months of waiting, the terminal finally arrives in Spain with a price that places the Alcatel 1S as one of the best options in the range of 100 euros.

Traditional design and mid-range features
The TCL-owned company has decided not to take risks with the Alcatel 1S design. In general lines, we find a sober aspect based on polycarbonate as the main construction material and a body whose TFT screen has 5.5 inches in 18: 9 format and HD + resolution.
Regarding the characteristics of Alcatel 1S, the terminal integrates a processor signed by Spreadtrum; specifically, the SC9863A model. Along with this, we find 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage expandable through micro SD cards up to 128 GB.
For the rest, the terminal has a fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 4.2, 3,060 mAh battery without fast charging, FM radio and WiFi in the b, g and n bands. Also, the Alcatel 1S integrates Android 9 Pie under the Alcatel layer as a base system.
Dual camera and Google Lens compatibility
If the Alcatel 1S stands out for something, it is precisely because of the photographic section. Broadly speaking, we find a dual camera configuration of 13 and 2 megapixels with apertures ranging from f / 2.0 to f / 2.8.
As for the front camera, the device integrates a single 5 megapixel sensor with 8 megapixel interpolation whose focal aperture reaches f / 2.2.
Manual mode, night shot, burst mode, HDR, beauty mode, panorama, portrait mode and slow motion (up to 120 FPS) are some of the functions to highlight that the Alcatel camera application integrates. In addition, the terminal is compatible with Google Lens through the Google Photos application.
Price and availability of Alcatel 1S in Spain
Alcatel's mid-range terminal arrives in Spain for a price of 109 euros in its only version with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
Regarding the available color configuration, the terminal can be purchased in three different shades: black, blue and gold. We can get hold of it through the usual sales outlets, including Amazon.
