The South Korean firm LG has just presented two new versions of one of its most popular phones today, the LG G2. These are two exclusive editions aimed at celebrating the arrival of the Chinese New Year, since on January 31st China will enter the year 4712. These two versions will mainly incorporate an aesthetic novelty: a red housing in one version and a gold-colored casing on the other.
The price of these new colorful versions in the Chinese market will be around 365 euros for the LG G2 with 16 GigaBytes of internal storage and about 415 euros for the LG G2 with 32 GigaBytes of internal storage. Although it is true that in principle it is an exclusive edition mainly oriented to China, it would not be surprising if LG also launched these two versions in the rest of the world since they are two colors that could have very good acceptance in others countries.
But, in addition to the two new colors, if we look closely at the LG G2 housing we can see that it now incorporates a rough texture that facilitates the grip of the terminal and prevents accidental falls. This is another reason why these exclusive editions are expected to reach Europe as well.
Recall that the LG G2 is currently one of the highest-end mobiles of the South Korean company LG. This phone incorporates a screen of 5.2 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1o80 pixels and a density of 423 dots per inch. Despite its generous size screen, this terminal boasts a good line with a thickness of 8.9 mm and a weight of 143 grams.
Inside the LG G2 are a processor Snapdragon 800 that achieves a clock speed of 2.26 GHz together with a memory RAM of 2 gigabytes. Although this terminal is available in two versions of 16 and 32 GigaBytes of internal storage respectively, one of its weakest points is precisely the fact that this internal memory cannot be expanded by means of an external microSD storage card.
The LG G2 also incorporates two cameras. The main camera is megapixels thirteen, while the front camera intended for video calls is 2.1 megapixels. Next to the main camera we find a small flash that is quite useful when taking pictures in the middle of the night or in dark environments.
Currently the LG G2 can be obtained in Spain for just over 400 euros, so that in the event that these two new versions finally arrived in Europe, the price would most likely be increased to almost 500 euros, mainly due to taxes.. In China, this new exclusive edition of the LG G2 will be sold from January 18 for a price of 365 for the 16 GigaByte version and 415 euros for the 32 GigaByte version.
