Samsung has made two new media ranges official today to add to its huge catalog in 2019. To the eight terminals that we already know and that range from the Samsung Galaxy A10 to the Samsung Galaxy A80, we must add the new Samsung Galaxy A30s and Samsung Galaxy A50s. This time we are going to focus on the differences between the Samsung Galaxy A30 and Samsung Galaxy A30s.
Design and appearance
Here we already find the first differences between one terminal and another, and that is that the new Samsung Galaxy A30s has a new design on the back. The brand has come to define this curious design as a 'unique geometric pattern and futuristic holographic effect'. The back of the Samsung Galaxy A30 is quite sober, containing the fingerprint sensor (in the case of the Galaxy A30 it happens to be below the screen) and the double camera sensor in addition to the LED flash. Which opens the way for us to talk about the differences in the photographic section.
Regarding the available colors we see again some differences. In the Samsung Galaxy S30 we could choose three colors, black, blue and red. In the Samsung Galaxy A30s we have more variety of options: we can choose between black, white, green and purple.

Three better than two
The Samsung Galaxy A30s increases the number of photographic sensors to three, as well as increasing the megapixels of the main sensor. In the Samsung Galaxy A30s we have:
- One 25MP main sensor, f / 1.7 focal aperture
- 8MP secondary sensor doubles as ultra wide angle
- A third 5MP depth sensor that measures the space for photos in portrait mode. It is not a lens that takes photos but simply serves to measure the space to offer a better result in blurring photos in portrait mode.
What happens in the Samsung Galaxy A30? That we only have one pair of lenses made up of:
- A 16 megapixel main sensor and same focal aperture
- 5 MP ultra-wide secondary sensor
Storage option
At least, and according to the information given by the Korean brand itself, the new Samsung Galaxy A30s could be available in three internal storage sizes: 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. It is not known if they will correspond to a certain RAM memory option, in this case two: 3 GB and 4 GB, so we will have to wait for more information to appear.
Two fairly similar terminals
These are all the differences between one terminal and another. In stores, currently, the Samsung Galaxy A30 can be purchased for a price of less than 240 euros. The price, in the end, is one of the main factors that the user handles when choosing to purchase and we still do not know anything about the price of the Samsung Galaxy A30s or its date of departure.
