OnePlus is one of the few manufacturers that takes device updates seriously. Even your terminals from a couple of years ago continue to receive software updates with improvements, new functions and security patches. Android 10 is already officially present, and the Chinese company already has two devices with this version: the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. But… what about the other models? OnePlus has released the update list, and we not only know the devices that will receive this new version, but also when they will receive it.
As I have commented, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro already have Android 10 in a final and stable version, although in China they still have the beta phase due to software modifications. If you have one of these two devices, you probably haven't received the update yet. Don't worry, as the new version arrived just a few days ago and is being rolled out in phases. Apart from these two models, there are four others that will also receive the update.
- OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T: these two terminals will receive Android 10 in beta next October, in the middle. It will not be until the end of November when they receive the final version.
- OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T: The OnePlus 5, introduced about 3 years ago, will also receive Android 10. The update will come later; in the second quarter of 2020. There appear to be no plans to launch a public beta.
It is important to mention that this update schedule could change. It all depends on the stability of the versions and the bugs that users find when testing the beta. As for the trial version, we do not know if it will be public or through registration, as Huawei does.
The OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro will arrive with Android 10
What about the OnePlus 7T and Oneplus 7T Pro? They will be announced this September 26. The Chinese company has already confirmed that these two terminals will arrive with Android 10 as standard. Among the novelties of this version is the dark mode -which was precisely already available in OxygenOS, the company's customization layer. There are also improvements in app security and permissions. As well as in the management of performance and autonomy.
