The Mi 9 family is giving a lot of themselves. Proof of this is a new terminal, which joins the rest of the models in the range, which the company has dubbed Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite. As its name suggests, it is the most restrained of its brothers, with affordable features, including a triple camera, an eight-core processor along with 6 GB of RAM, or a battery for several days (with fast charge)..
Another of its novelties is a design with a glass back, in which the Xiaomi logo lights up in different ways depending on whether we are receiving a message, call or any type of notification. The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite follows the design line of the standard Mi 9, with a panel that occupies the entire front and a notch in the shape of a drop of water. The terminal is built in glass and offers a very clean back, in which there is only space for a triple sensor located in a vertical position and a very peculiar logo. As we say, the company seal lights up as soon as we receive any kind of notice or notification. We do not see the fingerprint reader anywhere, since it is located under the panel.
This has a size of 6.39 inches and a FullHD + resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels). It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 glass and uses AMOLED technology. Inside there is room for a Snapdragon 710 processor, with Kyro 360 cores at 2.2 Ghz and 1.7 Ghz, manufactured in 10 nanometers. This SoC comes from the hand of 6 GB of RAM memory and a storage of 64 and 128 GB (expandable through the use of microSD cards).
Regarding the photographic section, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite includes a triple sensor formed by a first 48 megapixel sensor from Sony with Pixel Binning technology, 6P lenses, 1.6 micron pixels and f / 1.79 aperture. This goes hand in hand with a second wide-angle sensor with 118ยบ degrees of vision of 8 megapixels and aperture f / 2.2. as well as a third two megapixel ToF.
For its part, the camera for selfies is 32 megapixels. It boasts Pixel Binning technology, 1.6-micron pixels, 5P lenses and f / 2.0 focal aperture. The company has put a lot of emphasis during the presentation on AI Skyscaping, a technology that detects the sky in the catches and modifies it according to the day. Thus, it is capable of converting a cloudy sky into a completely clear and clear sky.
As for the rest of the features, the Mi 9 Lite equips a 4,030 mAh battery with 18W fast charging and a wide array of connections: Bluetooth 5.0, 4G, WiFi, GPS, USB type C, headphone jack or NFC.
Pricing and availability
The Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite will be available in Spain in pearl white, onyx black or aurora blue in two models to choose from: 6 + 64 GB and 6 + 128 GB. The most restrained model will land in pre-sale on the Xiaomi website, Mi Stores and other official channels from September 20. The version with 6 GB and 128 GB will do the same from October on the Xiaomi website, Mi Stores, Yoigo and Movistar. These are the prices
